Whoa … these are NOT pictures of fog, believe it or not. It’s smog. Incredible!!!! Can’t even begin to imagine the health risks. When we recorded one of our narrators, he was telling us about how intense the smog is over there, and how at times the cars can’t even see well enough to drive. Maybe we could all try to carpool more, and lessen our carbon footprint?

Watching this short film made me realize how much plastic is in vegan products, (almond milk lids, toothpaste containers, deodorant, shampoo etc., etc). This means those who are vegan are not TOTALLY vegan if we use plastic. Going vegan is easy, (products are everywhere). But going plastic-free vegan is the next leap, friends. Otherwise, we’re still killing birds and fish. I feel like I’m awaking again.
Recently, one of our Executive Producers, Dieter Paulmann, led a team of pacific island voyagers across the Pacific Ocean in a fleet of seven traditional vaka moanas, . His goal was to bring back the traditional culture and wisdom of the Polynesians into the modern world and to raise awareness of some of the emerging threats to our oceans. It’s an inspiring story, and the Nation Earth team was lucky enough to travel with them for a day. Dieter even made sure that the whole fleet watched EARTHLINGS!

Just came across this article for the ever-growing fit vegan movement.
If you haven’t seen it yet, go see JOHN CARTER. One of our amazing narrators, Mark Strong, plays a thern in the film. Toward the end, Mark has a dialogue with the main character about the rise and fall of civilizations that just blew us away. The mythology that Edgar Rice Burroughs developed was quite intricate and plays into the theme quite well.
